Remove New Folder.exe
After receiving many complaints from people’s about this virus, I finally decided to guide the users about the removal of this virus. Some of the problems caused by this virus are:
1.Show Hidden Files and Folders not working
2.My Computer Drives open another explorer window
Removal of this Virus
Unfortunately, I have no removal tool to remove this virus at the time of writing, but you will soon see one. You can try the manual removal of it
Manual Removal
Caution: While the manual process is going on do not open any My Computer drive.
1. Open up cmd by typing cmd in Start –> Run.
2. Type in cmd
taskkill /f /im WindowsExplorer.exe
taskkill /f /im WindowsExplorer.exe
3. Open The Search.
4.Click All File And Folder
5.Click On (What size is it)
Select the Option
6.Click On (More advanced Options)
Select The Type of file (Application)
Type Of Files:
7.Click on Search Button.
8.View All File In Search Detail
9.After Stop the Search.
10.Click On the View Menu
View -> arrange Icon By -> Size
see the all fize in size wise
11.Delete File.
Select The All File Of New Folder.exe Type and Delete It.
Search Detail search Windows Explorer.exe File and Delete It.
Search detail search (New Folder Type Icon). No software company allow to make the same icon like the Folder Type Icon.
If you see any application file icon in folder icon then your delete this file.
Delete the all file and Close the Search
12.Open the Search.
Select The All Local Hard Driver
Type in All or part of the file name:
13.Delete All (*.eml) files.
14.Delete The pp.exe File.
15.Search This file pp.exe
Location (C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp)
Delete All File In Temp Folder
